Sawadekup ~

Bkk is the land of paradise for ladies, and it is my first time gg to bkk!
(yes, ms sua finally went to bkk!)
Tagged along with the dad for a 3d2n ( more like 2d2n ) for praying.

Day 1:
Headed to the airport at abt 10.30am! And window shopped at the dfs!

Flight was with Thai airlines at 12pm. Only took the picture of the food :/

Was supposed to reach by 2pm (sg time) but we got delayed till 3plus. By the time we landed and Reached the hotel, it was already 5pm bkk time (bkk is one hr slower than us! )

We stayed at Novotel platinum ( just beside platinum mall! Excellent location!)

MBK was about 5-10mins walk away from the hotel, so headed there to "shop". We came out empty handed thou. Headed off to Chinatown and ate the highly raved shark fin and birdnest dinner! Mega awesome! Just by looking at the pic, enough to make me drools ~

I rmb the shark fin and birdnest cost us about 300baht (about $12sgd) for the better grade fins n birdnest. So perhaps when u around the area, can look for namsing, one of the highly raved restaurant! ( most taxi drivers knows about the place! So is easy to get there! )

Too tired for anything else, we headed back to hotel for rest.

Day 2:
Woke up and had the hotel breakfast buffet. Their spread is really one of the best for four stars hotel!

Headed off to 4-faced-Buddha.
Beware, there are many 4-faced-Buddha arounD, the authentic one is actually walking distant from mbk.
It is easy to recognise as there are dancer and many prayers there! )

Note: according to my parents, you have to wear long jeans n shirts ( I went in sleeveless top thou) for respect.

The dancer is there to "return" the favour for god if ur wish is granted! ('m in it! That's my dad! )

Headed off to platinum mall alone as my dad gotta meet one of their contractor. (he tagged along with us the the rest of the trip).
Met them at about 5pm, and headed to dinner at once upon a time (serve authentic Thai food!)

We had sticky rice too! But we were too hungry and finished up before i could snap a picture of it!

Due to the heavy rain, we headed back to our hotel and waited for 2hrs.

Got a call from concierge that rain is smaller, so we headed off to patbong. (a place where u see the night shows with ladyboy.

They didn't like the places so we headed back to hotel.

Day 3:

Best day for me! Cos we headed off to chatuchat! (literally spend all my money there within that 1h).

 

had the popular coconut ice cream. it was really good!

saw this on the roadside while heading back! looks awesome, gonna come back and try it the next time!
Gotta check out at 1pm and we headed off to the central (beside our hotel) to get the last minutes buy. Gotten my bisfesta and some home products there! So much cheaper at their supermarket! )

And sadly, by 4pm, gotta leave for airport and back to sg.

'm sure I will be to bkk again! This time, will spend more time to explore and chatuchat for sure!
